During Taylor Swift's debut performance for her Eras Tour in Milan at San Siro Stadium on July 13, the concert took an unexpected turn when the singer swallowed a bug while performing. Swift, who was in the midst of a surprise mashup of "I Almost Do" and "The Moment I Knew," reassured the audience, joking about the abundance of bugs at the venue that evening. Despite the hiccup, she continued the show, recalling similar incidents during her London and Chicago performances.

The concert wasn't just memorable for the bug incident; Swift also showcased several new outfits that caught the fans' attention. She first appeared in a black and gold Fearless-era costume, sparking speculations of an upcoming announcement for 'Reputation (Taylor's Version)'. Another standout was her turquoise blue ensemble for the 1989 set, a first-time color choice for the tour.

Highlight of the night was her appearance in a white gown during the Tortured Poets Department segment, featuring lyrics from "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?" in elegant cursive, replacing the previous "Fortnight" lyrics dress. The audience expressed their admiration by chanting "Sei Bellissima" ("you are very beautiful" in Italian), visibly moving Swift.

Swift's Milan show comes shortly after her performances in Zürich, where she marked her 113th Eras Tour show by playing cherished tracks for the Swiss audience. The tour's European leg is nearing its conclusion, with Milan being one of the final seven cities before concluding in London at Wembley Stadium. Swift's tour will then return to North America for its final leg.
